Following the phenomenal success of the film adaptations of The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, Sony Pictures will once again be bringing Robert Langdon to screen in a movie of The Lost Symbol. Tom Hanks will reprise his role as Professor Robert Langdon and the film is currently slated for a 2012 release.
